The Crowdfundamentals has worked on two very different types of dog-related crowdfunding campaigns, and both were deeply gratifying. I have great admiration for humans who work to improve the lives of dogs. I know that the need is huge, and that it is time consuming and emotional work. Helping dogs also takes money and often there aren’t enough hours in the day, or necessary staff, to fund raise. If you have a worthy project and would like to be considered for a free consultation, please sign up to the TCF blog. Then contact me and tell me briefly about your project.
Each month I’ll select one project, not only based on need but also the project’s chances for success. Here’s a list of key points you will need in order to improve your chances of being selected.
- You should have a specific goal in mind.
- You should understand that donors expect a reward or perk for their financial support.
- You should be aware that your success is directly tied to your willingness and ability to dedicate the necessary time it takes to make your campaign a success.
- You should have community support, be it a team consisting of one energetic and like-minded individual, or a community who shares your aspirations and are ready to work with and for you by sharing your campaign through the ongoing use social media and other online tools.
I look forward to working with you!
