The National Crowdfunding Association of Canada (NCFA) will be holding their inaugural Crowdfunding Summit (#CCS20150) on March 3.  I’m thrilled to be moderating a panel discussion called “Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees: Crowdfunding Strategy and Planning”, on March 3. With over 40 expert speakers confirmed this is going to be an exciting event. One the Agenda:

Self Employment in the Arts Please join me for this important annual event where I’ll be a featured speaker, presenting a soup-to-nuts Overview of the Crowdfunding Industry and focus on best practices and the latest innovations within the industry you need to know  as an artist in order succeed at crowdfunding (Saturday, 10:30 – 11:30am). Later that day I’ll lead a roundtable discussion called Marketing for Crowdfunding (Saturday, 1 – 2PM). 2015 Annual Self-Employed Artists (SEA) conference, Hilton Hotel, 3003 Corporate West Drive, Lisle, Illinois. UPCOMING MAY EVENTS

The Crowdfundamentals will once again be joining forces with Tribeca Flashpoint  Media Arts Academy, Chicago. This time we’ll be presenting a crowdfunding workshop in order to prepare students for their bi-yearly Production In Action (PIA), a collaborative competition involving first year students from across all disciplines. Teams will be raising funds via crowdfunding for endangered species. A panel of judges, including myself, will award an additional $5000 cash, provided by the school and given to the wildlife charity corresponding to the winner’s animal(s).
